A room in a log cabin, woodstove heating, primitive but functional washing facilities, a horse in the barn.. For most of you this will be a trip back in time. Located between Moscow & St. Petersburg, near Staritsa, Tver region, on the Volga river.

Basic "suggested contribution" is 750 roubles/night ($30) for a place to sleep, use of cooking facilities, but no service. Recommended for long-term guests. 1500 roubles ($55-60) for "full service" including prepared meals* and help with horse riding.
