The Past Splendor of Gatchina Palace
The town of Gatchina, located approximately forty six kilometers from St. Petersburg, was first documented in 1499 while owned by Novgorod the Great. Unbeknownst to the people of the time, this wonderful town in Russia was destined for greatness. At its centre is the Gatchina Palace. Gatchina Palace became the symbol of royalty in Russia and has remain a vital part of the country’s history, still able to astound and dazzle visitors who walk its grounds today.

The Magnificent Constantine Palace at Strelna
The historic settlement of Strelna is situated approximately half way between the city of St. Petersburg and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Peterhof. Marvelous Entertainment at Durov Animal Theater
Established in 1912 by Vladimir Durov, and currently being run by his great-granddaughter Natalia, the Durov Animal Theater in Moscow, Russia, continues to entertain, enthrall and amaze children (and adults) five days a week throughout the year. This truly unique Moscow institution features a big stage where horses, Afgan wolfhounds, dogs, monkeys, cows, a hippopotamus, tigers, chimpanzees and pelicans showcase their incredible abilities. Konstantin Tachkin’s highly acclaimed St. Petersburg Ballet Theater, which was formed on 10 November 1994, is considered to be the youngest ballet companies in the Russian city of St. Petersburg – a city rich in culture, history and tradition. Of the more than 60 dancers in St. Petersburg Ballet Theater, the majority are graduates from the well-respected Vaganova Ballet School in St. Petersburg, having trained under the tutelage of renowned former prima ballerinas and dancers.
